Juno conjunct Venus in Synastry

Juno conjunct venus in a synastry chart is a very favorable aspect. It can show a strong attraction that may not be obvious from the rest of the synastry.

In astrology, Juno is one of the most commonly used asteroids. It is also known as the ‘marriage asteroid’. Juno is associated with marriage, commitment and what we seek in a spouse.

Venus is known as the planet of love and relationship. It speaks about our values and what we find attractive.

The connection can be quite powerful when Juno, the marriage asteroid, makes an aspect to someone’s Venus. Venus is going to attract Juno with its beauty, while Juno is going to attract Venus with its commitment.

Instant attraction with Juno conjunct Venus in Synastry

When you have a Venus conjunct Juno aspect in synastry, there can be an instant attraction to each other. It can seem natural to call each other ‘husband’ or ‘wife’ fairly early in the relationship or talk about marriage and your future together.

Sometimes, it can feel like you have already met before, perhaps in another life. So it feels natural to talk about your future together since you already feel like you have known each other for a long time.

If it’s not a romantic relationship, Juno conjunct Venus can create a feeling that the other person will be very special to you and you wish to maintain a long-term connection with them.

For example, you might meet a new teacher at school who you believe can teach you a lot, and you wish they could be your mentor for life. Similarly, you might meet a new friend whom you sense will become very dear to you, leading you to maintain contact with them throughout your life.

A desire for commitment

Venus conjunct Juno in a synastry is a great aspect for long-term compatibility – whether romantic or not. There can instantly be a desire to create a lasting commitment with the other person. Many family members, life-long friends and marriages often have a Juno-venus aspect in their synastry.

While other planets, like Saturn, for example, can signify commitment in a synastry report, the commitment from a Juno-venus aspect feels a little different. When Saturn makes aspects to personal planets in synastry, you can feel like you have to be together for better or worse. For example, some people with strong Saturn synastry can stay together even if they’re falling out of love.

With Juno conjunct Venus, there’s instead a desire for commitment. The desire for commitment is especially strong for the Juno person. Juno conjunct Venus differs from Saturn in a way that it’s more about long-lasting emotions. There’s a deep love and admiration for each other that never fades, whether you stay together or not.

There can also be a strong physical attraction.

How it’s felt differently being Juno and Venus

Juno conjunct Venus speaks of a beautiful harmony between two people—the kind of love-never-dies relationship.  It can show mutual love and respect for the other person.

In a romantic relationship, the Juno person can see Venus as the ideal partner. Everything from how they dress to behave socially embodies what Juno has envisioned their perfect mate to be like.

In a friendship, the Juno person can think Venus embodies what they believe a great friend should be and act like.

The Venus person may feel very loved and cherished by Juno. Venus may wish to shower the Juno person with their love, as they want the Juno person to feel just as loved as they feel. There’s a lot of admiration for the other person.

Please note:

Please keep in mind that it’s not always accurate when we’re talking about who’s feeling what in a synastry chart. Both people in the relationship can feel the energies that this aspect brings.

There can be some feelings that the Juno would typically feel. Yet the Juno person can sometimes be more Venusian and vice versa. It always depends on your natal chart and the rest of your synastry chart.
